The PEN Conference brings together educators from around the world to learn and discuss Progressive Education philosophy and pedagogy, best practice and emerging research that promotes optimal development and learning for all students while building a common understanding of our progressive principles within our PEN community and beyond.
NIPEN is a multi-day, two part workshop to learn about Progressive Education and enhance your practice as a progressive educator, within a cohort context.

The Institute for Imaginative Inquiry provides professional development in the methods and techniques of Imaginative Inquiry, a pedagogy that uses imaginary contexts to engage students in deep inquiry. Each summer the Institute offers a four-day workshop that brings educators from all over the country to learn about Imaginative Inquiry and build on their progressive practices.
Connect with the progressive education community – in person and online – via open houses, symposia, institutes, job fairs and much more. Partners can also easily share events with the network.
